Following the webinar on the recently created CEN-CENELEC JTC23 (horizontal topics for PPE), we want to inform you about the upcoming first meetings of the different Working Groups.

Some WGs organise workshops which are open to participation also for those not (yet) registered as expert in the WG. To be able to participate in the WG meetings, you need to be registered as expert by your national standardisation body.

• WG 2 (ergonomics, comfort and compatibility of PPE) : meeting on 12/03/2025 (afternoon) – in person at BSI in London or online (hybrid).
• WG 3 (sustainability & circularity aspects of PPE) : workshop on 26&27/02/2025 at CEN-CENELEC in Brussels (in-person only) – participation open to all, but only through binding registration via Eventbrite Link (remark : number of participants is limited)
• WG 4 (smart, electronic, electrical and ICT properties of PPE and PPE ensembles) : 
  • workshops on 28/01/2025 at 10:00 (SUCAM and integrated smart, electronic and ICT elements) and 04/02/2025 at 10:00 (electrical vehicles) - online only – participation open to all, for registration please contact the convenor: Karin Eufinger: ke@centexbel.be
  • meeting on 12/03/2025 (afternoon), in person at BSI in London or online (hybrid)
• WG 6 (inclusive PPE) : meeting on 20/02/2025 (10:00-15:00) – online
• plenary meeting of JTC23 on 13/03/2025 – in person at BSI in London or online (hybrid)

This is the moment to be involved in the work of those groups from the start and thus have an influence on the work program.
